Stella M. McIver, 84, Cavendish native
     
Stella M. McIver, 84, a resident of the Southwick area until moving to Lewiston two years ago, died of causes incident to aging at 9:42 a.m. Monday at Lewiston Convalescent Center.
     She was the widow of Chester McIver and a homemaker until entering the nusing home. She was a member of a pioneer family of eastern Nez Perce County.
     She was born Oct. 12, 1899, at Cavendish, the daughter of Jasper and Ora Triplett. She was married to McIver Jan 25, 1916, and Lewiston, and he died May 19, 1958.
     Survivors include a daughter, Ardis Gertje of Lewiston; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pearl; two sons, Earl and Donald; a grandson, Gary Gertje; two brothers and three sisters.
     The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Smith of Lewiston Orchards Nazarene Church officiating. Burial will be at Southwick Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Orchards Nazarene Church.
